Weekly Points Distribution

1024 Points are distributed through weekly distribution cycles.

During each weekly cycle, users earn Sparks and may generate eligible Maker activity. After the cycle ends, eligible activity is used to calculate that week’s Points distribution.

Weekly Cycle

Each weekly cycle starts on Wednesday at 00:00 UTC and ends the following Wednesday at 00:00 UTC.

At the end of each cycle:

  1. Eligible Sparks are calculated.
  2. Eligible Maker activity is calculated.
  3. Weekly Points are distributed.
  4. Points are added to user accounts.
  5. Sparks reset for the next weekly cycle.

Weekly Points Pool

During Season 0, the scheduled weekly Points distribution is:

200,000 Points per week

The weekly pool is divided into two parts:

PoolWeekly AllocationShare
Task Pool40,000 Points20%
Maker Pool160,000 Points80%

The Task Pool and Maker Pool are calculated separately.

Task Pool

The Task Pool rewards users who earn eligible Sparks.

If you earn Sparks during a weekly cycle, your Task Pool share depends on your percentage of all eligible Sparks earned by all users during that same cycle.

Formula

Your Task Pool Points:

Your eligible Sparks / Total eligible Sparks from all users × Weekly Task Pool

Example

Assume:

  • Weekly Task Pool: 40,000 Points
  • Total eligible Sparks from all users: 1,000,000 Sparks
  • Your eligible Sparks: 10,000 Sparks

Your share:

10,000 / 1,000,000 = 1%

Your Task Pool Points:

40,000 × 1% = 400 Points

Maker Pool

The Maker Pool rewards users who contribute eligible Maker volume.

A Maker order is an order that adds liquidity to the order book before it is matched. When another user trades against that order, the Maker order may generate eligible Maker volume.

Your Maker Pool share depends on your eligible weighted Maker volume compared with the total eligible weighted Maker volume from all eligible users.

Formula

Your Maker Pool Points:

Your eligible weighted Maker volume / Total eligible weighted Maker volume from all users × Weekly Maker Pool

Example

Assume:

  • Weekly Maker Pool: 160,000 Points
  • Total eligible weighted Maker volume from all users: $100,000,000
  • Your eligible weighted Maker volume: $1,000,000

Your share:

$1,000,000 / $100,000,000 = 1%

Your Maker Pool Points:

160,000 × 1% = 1,600 Points

Final Weekly Points

Your final weekly Points may include:

  • Task Pool Points
  • Maker Pool Points
  • Any eligible campaign or season-specific adjustments

Your Points are added to your all-time Points balance after distribution is complete.

Why Points May Vary Each Week

Your weekly Points may vary even if your own activity stays the same.

This is because weekly distribution is based on your share of total eligible activity.

Your Points may change depending on:

  • How many users participate
  • How many Sparks all users earn
  • Total eligible Maker volume
  • Market weights
  • Campaign boosts
  • Anti-abuse review
  • Seasonal rule changes

A higher personal activity level does not always guarantee the same Points amount if total ecosystem activity also changes.

When Sparks Reset

Sparks reset after the weekly Points distribution.

Sparks are not carried over into the next week.

However, Sparks are used to calculate Points before they reset.

Distribution Status

Your Points page may show distribution status such as:

  • In progress
  • Calculating
  • Under review
  • Distributed
  • Delayed

If a distribution is delayed, 1024EX may continue processing eligibility, settlement, or system checks before final Points are updated.

Important Notes

  • Only eligible Sparks and eligible Maker activity count.
  • Canceled orders do not count as trading volume.
  • Self-trades and wash trades do not count.
  • Bot activity and artificial volume may be excluded.
  • Official market-making or platform liquidity accounts may be excluded from community rewards.
  • 1024EX may review activity before or after weekly distribution.
  • Points may be adjusted if abusive or invalid activity is detected.
